SUBSIDISING THE PURCHASE OF MEDICAL DEVICES
Support may be granted for the purchase of orthodontics, hearing aids, spectacles, foot insoles and supinated footwear for the purpose of maintaining or restoring children’s health.
The allowance is granted if the per capita monthly income of the family raising the child does not exceed HUF 67,000 or, for severely disadvantaged children, HUF 77,500, and the family does not have the assets specified in the Child Protection Act.
The amount of the allowance is 80% of the price of the aid, but not more than HUF 35,000 per calendar year.
The allowance can also be requested for the purchase of medical aids partially financed within the framework of public health care, and for the payment of costs in addition to the allowance.
ADMINISTRATION PROCESS
Please submit the completed application form at the Mayor's Office Welfare Office (Polgármesteri Hivatal Népjóléti Irodája) with the necessary attachments.

Required documents
The application form can also be picked up at the Public Welfare Office during office hours. Please attach proof of the income of the applicant family, a certificate from a specialist stating the need for the medical device and proof of the cost of the medical device.
