PARKING PERMIT FOR HEALTHCARE WORKERS

A consent to parking for healthcare workers may be granted, upon request, to general practitioners and paediatricians servicing a catchment area and their assistants, public health nurses and persons participating in home care in the given area under a contractual relationship with the municipality, for one car designated by the applicant, and for cars designated by specialist home care services and support services organizations servicing a catchment area.

Conditions for granting a consent to parking for healthcare workers:

• payment of the reimbursement fee,
• proof of payment or exemption from motor vehicle tax,
• a certificate from the district health service in case of applications submitted by a general practitioner and a paediatrician or their assistants, a certificate from the district public health nurse service in the case of a nurse, and a certificate from the health care service and the competent district municipality in the case of a home care or support service provider.

The medical parking permit entitles to parking for up to 2 hours free of charge in parking zones in the administrative area of the 12th district. The start time of parking must be indicated on the disc placed behind the front windscreen of the vehicle, made clearly visible from the outside. Do not alter the disc unless the vehicle leaves the parking space.
