FUNERAL COSTS, AID
Funeral assistance may be provided to contribute to the funeral costs of a deceased if the bearing of funeral costs would endanger the livelihood of the applicant or the family of the applicant, and
- the monthly income per capita does not exceed 95,700 HUF in the family of the applicant, or
- the monthly income per capita does not exceed 109,100 HUF in the family of an applicant in need.
ADMINISTRATION PROCESS
The completed form with the necessary attachments shall be submitted at the Welfare Office (Népjóléti Iroda) no later than 180 days after the funeral.

Monday: 13:00-17:30
Tuesday: closed to the public
Wednesday: 8:00-16:00
Thursday: closed to the public
Friday: 8:00-12:00
Required documents
The application form is available at the Welfare Office during hours of operation. Instruments certifying the income of the applicant or the applying family and a copy of the invoice on the funeral expenses – issued to the applicant’s name or a close cohabiting relative – shall be attached to the application.
