DISPOSAL OF MUNICIPAL PREMISES TO A TENANT

EMPTY FLAT, EMPTY ROOM, DISPOSAL, PURCHASE, BUYING, SELLING

If a tenant wishes to purchase a flat or non-residential premise owned by the Municipality, he or she must submit a written request to that effect. The premises can be disposed of if the disposal is not in conflict with the Municipality's policies on property management and if it has been designated for disposal by the Council or the Proprietorship and Urban Development Committee (Tulajdonosi és Városfejlesztési Bizottság), depending on the value of the premises.

ADMINISTRATION PROCESS

  1. The tenant submits an application.
  2. Following approval, the purchase price is determined in line with a valuation of the real estate market value.
  3. The tenant then receives a quote from the Municipality. The bidding is conducted before a notary public, and if the offer is accepted, the Property Management Office (Vagyongazdálkodási Iroda) draws up the sales and purchase agreement.
