EXCEPTIONAL CHILD PROTECTION ASSISTANCE
ENDANGERED SUBSISTENCE, SCHOOL ENROLMENT, DISADVANTAGED CIRCUMSTANCES, EXCEPTIONAL, AID
The family in custody of the child may be provided exceptional child protection assistance on the grounds of the child, if it periodically faces subsistence troubles, or faces an exceptional situation endangering existence and therefore cannot care for the child by any other means. Primary consideration shall be given to children and families in material need related to the school enrolment of the child, preparation for birth, maintaining contact with the family of a foster child, assisting the rehoming of a child or to the disadvantaged situation of the child.
The benefit may be awarded upon the condition of the monthly income per capita not exceeding:
- 67,000 HUF in the family caring for the child,
- 77,500 HUF in the family of a highly dependant applicant.
