CHILDREN’S LUNCH ALLOWANCE
FEE, CHILD, CATERING, ALLOWANCE
The allowance helps to pay for meals in nurseries, kindergartens and schools (in the case of full-time primary and secondary schools).
You can apply if the family's net monthly income per capita does not exceed HUF 57,000, and if the family caring for the child does not have the assets specified in the Child Protection Act.
The rate of the reduction, if the monthly per capita income of the family:
- does not exceed HUF 28,500, shall be 90% of the fee payable per person;
- exceeds HUF 28,500, shall be 50% of the fee payable per person.
Reductions are granted from 1 September to 31 August of the following year.
If the application is submitted after 30 September, the reduction will be granted by the Municipality from the first day of the month following the submission of the application (until 31 August of the following year) .
ADMINISTRATION PROCESS
Please submit the completed application form at the Mayor's Office Welfare Office (Polgármesteri Hivatal Népjóléti Irodája) with the necessary attachments.

Required documents
The application form can also be picked up at the Public Welfare Office during office hours. Please attach proof of the income of the applicant family, and the recommendation from the head of the institution catering for the child.
