The Hegyvidék Local Council opened the first community DIY workshop in the district in 2019. Those interested in woodworking can create their own products under the supervision of a specialist from the materials they bring with them to 44 Márvány Street. In the well-equipped Hegyvidék DIY workshop, all tools are available for working on wood, metals, plastic and textiles, and for breathing life into your creative ideas.

Using the equipment at the workshop is subject to a fee of HUF 300/hour for each hour started. You can pay when you start work via an online credit card facility.

The DIY workshop can be used by the following:

People above the age of 18 with permanent residence or a valid temporary place of residence in the 12^th district, after reading and signing a statement on liability of use and paying the fee for using the tools.

Persons between 14 and 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

A maximum of 6 people can use the DIY workshop at the same time, accompanied by one person each, so a maximum of 12 people can stay in the room at the same time.
