‘I AM A BABY FROM HEGYVIDÉK’ PROGRAM

From 1 March 2017, the Local Council of Hegyvidék greets all newborn in the district with a baby package. The “I am a baby from Hegyvidék” packages are delivered to families by our public health nurses on their first visit after the baby is born. The package contains a hooded towel, a fridge magnet with useful information, a car sticker saying ‘Keep me safe!’ in Hungarian, packets of baby lotion, bubble bath, wet wipes, a thermometer, and a water thermometer, with the Local Council’s intent to help parents in the early days of caring for their baby.
