The municipality has developed a smartphone application called Panic Button for the safety of people living in Hegyvidék. The free downloadable application displays a panic button on the phone screen, and by pressing the button a request for help is made to the Hegyvidék Security Service 24 hours a day if you get into trouble in the district.
