The Money Museum has opened

Visitors can learn about the history of money and economic development at the recently opened Money Museum in Széll Kálmán tér with the help of English and Chinese subtitles, in addition to the Hungarians. In addition to the numerous old coins and other memorabilia, a number of interactive games and special experiences await those interested in the exhibition. For example, we can design our own banknote, press a coin, and hold in our hands a piece of the country's gold reserves, a gold block weighing 12 kilograms, which worths a quarter of a billion forints. The new museum can be visited free of charge, but an appointment must be made on the penzmuzeum.hu website.
