The Hegyvidék children’s railway operates with more frequent operating hours: on weekends and public holidays from Hűvösvölgy station 8. 45-17. 00, and from Széchenyihegy station 9. 45-18. Trains leave between 3 p.m., every 40-50 minutes. From Tuesday to Friday, the children's railway runs every hour. Those who would like to combine the small railway with chair-lifting in the fine spring weather should take advantage of this opportunity before or after 17 April, as the Zugliget Chairlift does not run in the intervening period due to maintenance work.
