The Budapest Development Centre announced the results of the landscape design tender for the renewal of the Park of Városmajor. Based on the winning plan, the green space can be expanded by one and a half hectares, and a lake can be created on the site of the open-air stage maintained in the capital, if an agreement can be reached on the relocation of the institution. According to the ideas, the historical park area closer to Széll Kálmán Square will have a quieter, rest garden and walking garden function, while the part of the community sports fields and playgrounds for activity would be placed on the side of Szent János Hospital.
