From 1 March, both the monthly Country Pass and the Pest County Pass can be used in Budapest on BKK vehicles. The passes cost 18,900 and 9,450 forints (1,890 and 945 forints for students). The price of a Budapest pass valid for the territory of the capital will be reduced from HUF 9,500 to HUF 8,950. Another change from 1 March is the introduction of the Hungary24 and Vármegye24 day tickets (the price will be HUF 4,999 and HUF 999, respectively), but these are not valid on BKK vehicles in Budapest, only on suburban trains (HÉV), trains and "blue" and "yellow" Volán buses.
