On national holidays in Hungary, including March 15th, the anniversary of the beginning of the 1848-49 revolution and war of independence, national flags adorn houses and public buildings throughout the country. In order to raise the number of red-white-green flags in the Hegyvidék, the municipality provides flags and flagpoles free of charge upon request to decorate residential buildings. Claims can be submitted in the e-administration system of the municipality.
