Concerts in the Hegyvidék
On 17 February, from 4.45 pm, the Surján String Chamber Ensemble awaits children and their parents for a family concert at the Lóvasút (64 Zugligeti Rd.), this time featuring works by Haydn, Dvořak and Kodály. On February 22, from 7:00 p.m., we can enjoy a special musical experience combined with the tasting of Etyek wines in Barabás Villa (44 Városmajor St.). The Aviso String Quartet, the Homoky Old Sound, Enikő Derzsi-Pap and Márton Komáromi (vocal) will perform works by Edit Piaf and Elvis Presley in crossover adaptations in addition to works by Mozart and Schubert. On February 22nd, we can choose another interesting concert: at 7:30 p.m., Sandro De Palma (piano) and Alexander Hülshoff (cello) will be the guests of MOMkult (18 Csörsz St.). Their joint evening will feature Brahms' Sonata in F major, one of the jewels of cello-piano sonata literature, and we will also hear a taste of lesser-known pieces from the 20th century.
