The Hegyvidék Municipality again asks those wishing to hike to choose the less visited areas of the Buda hills instead of Normafa.

Despite the warning to keep the prescribed and safe distance, masses hiked to Normafa last weekend too. In addition to the risk of infection, this has also caused serious traffic and parking problems.

There is a continuous police presence at Normafa on weekends as well. There are still only a limited number of parking spaces in the area, after which become full, the staff of the Hegyvidéki Police will turn the every car back, and those who park in an irregular, forbidden place, on green spaces, in a way that damages the environment will be fined.

We also ask those who still choose Normafa for their leisure activities to keep the right distance from each other in all cases. Where the distance of 1.5-2 meters cannot be maintained, be sure to wear a mask which covers your nose and mouth!
