The traditional poppy seed roll cake of Major Confectionery in Maros utca won a bronze medal at the "Bejgli of the Year" competition of the Hungarian Confectionery Association. This is not the first significant recognition of a Hegyvidék confectionary, in 2013 the Milotai honey peanut brittle cake was chosen as the cake of the country.
