Pentecost carnival in Svábhegy. Diana Park in Svábhegy will host a variety of programs on Saturday, June 4 from 4 to 9 pm, on Sunday, from 9 am to 10 pm, and on Monday, June 6 from 10 am to 7 pm. The organizers are waiting for those who want to relax with the programs of traditional German bands and dance ensembles, children's sessions, a craft fair, as well as Swabian gourmet snacks, beers and locally baked strudel.

Fabulous adventures on the main street of Hegyvidék. Family programs continue in the area in front of the Town Hall Square, in front of the Hegyvidék Cultural Salon. On Saturday, June 11, from 10 am to 1 pm, children can make creative objects from recycled materials, gain insight into the lives of plants and their pollinators in an interactive science playhouse, and attend a fairytale concert and puppet show. On Sunday, June 12, from 10 am to 1 pm, a craft session using traditional techniques, a dance house, and more musical and puppet productions will entertain the little ones and their parents.

Hegyvidék Unloader. Next time, the regular community fair will not be held at the end of the month but on June 12th, waiting for the citizens of XII. district at the Town Hall Square. Used, bored but still in good condition clothes, books, utility and ornaments can change hands in the “flea market”.

Collection of hazardous waste. The Green Office of the Hegyvidék Municipality will organize the collection of hazardous waste for the public on June 11 from 8 am to 12 noon. In the parking lot at 51 Tamási Áron St., among other things, electronic waste, used batteries, light bulbs, fluorescent lamps, paint residues, adhesives, solvents, thinners, pesticides and insecticides, used oil and used cooking oil, oily solid waste, disposable medicines, empty spray cans and used tires can be disposed, up to a maximum of four pieces per person.

Movies in English. The superhero film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the new Top Gun: Maverick and the historical action film drama The Northman can also be seen in CinemaMOM (53 Alkotás St.) in English (with Hungarian subtitles). The latest Jurassic World film, Dominion, will be screened from June 9th.

Exhibitions in the salon. Gábor Füzér's surreal, fairy-tale paintings can be seen in the Tamási Áron Hall of the Hegyvidéki Cultural Salon (2 Törpe St.) from June 2. From June 3, photographer Abonyi Maya, head of APS Photo Studio, will present her work in the Gallery Hall.

Klezmer Karma. The internationally acclaimed violinist Roby Lakatos and his band will present the musical world of Yiddish culture to students in a modern orchestration at MOMkult (18 Csörsz St.) on June 4 from 7 pm. The star guest of the special production in the framework of the Jewish Art Days is jazz singer Gigi Radics.

Serbian folklore evening. The Tabán Serbian Dance Group will hold its large-scale evening at MOMkult on June 11 from 7 pm (18 Csörsz St.). The Serbian dance group KUD Sumadija will perform as a guest. After the performance, the band Zora from Tököl will play with Agatity Krunoszlav in the dome hall.

Jazz concert. Trumpeter Rezső Bálint and his team, the Chameleon Jazz Band, are waiting for their audience for a friendly evening on June 12 at 8 pm at the Lóvasút Culture and Event Center (64 Zugligeti St.). Guests are greeted with a welcome drink and artisan delicacies from the award-winning Bake My Day Bakery from 7 pm.
