New epidemiological measures
- According to the government's decision, from February 15, those over 18 years of age who have received the third vaccination against the coronavirus, and who received the second vaccination within six months, will be considered vaccinated.
For those under 18, two vaccinations are sufficient. The third vaccination can be taken after four months, but everyone must take it within six months for their vaccination card to remain valid.
- The quarantine period for coronavirus has been shortened: adults will be quarantined for seven days, and after five days, asymptomatic, the restriction can be lifted with a negative coronavirus test.
- In January, vaccination action days are held every Thursday and Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm and every Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm at hospital vaccination points in a total of six locations in Hegyvidék. On the days of the promotion, those over 12 can apply for the vaccine - Pfizer, Sinopharm, Moderna, Janssen or AstraZeneca - by registering on site without prior appointment.
Let's collect the drinks cardboard box differently. Since the beginning of the year in the Capital, in case of the selective waste collection at households, and also at the collection islands and on the residential waste yards, we can only dispose of beverage cartons in yellow-top containers, as a mixed packaging waste. Only clean waste paper can now be collected in blue-top containers.
Movies in English. CinemaMOM (XII., Alkotás utca 53.) will screen the superhero film Spider-Man: No Way Home in English (with Hungarian subtitles) as well as the sci-fi movies Dune and The Matrix Resurrections. On January 23, we can see Tosca, staged at the Royal Opera House in London, and from January 27, we can see a digitally restored concert film of Queen's 1986 performance in Budapest at several times.
Dance theater. On the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture, the dance performance "Authentics – My own material" can be seen on January 21st at 7 p.m. in MOMkult XII., Csörsz St. 18.). The production of the Young Hearts Dance Theatre gives the audience a complex picture of the traditional dance and music culture of the nationalities living in Slovakia.
Irish musics. The band Bran is once again waiting for fans of Irish-Celtic culture at the Jókai Club (XII., 5 Hollós Rd.), their next performance is 22 January at 6 p.m. The concert will be introduced by an hour-long performance accompanied by a screening.
Family concert. The Eszter-lánc Fairytale Orchestra will hold a big birthday concert at MOMkult (XII., 18 Csörsz street) from 11 a.m. on January 29 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment. This time, Judit Halász, a great favorite of the children, will also perform as a guest of the ensemble of Eszter Kárász.
Oláh Gipsy Beats. On January 29th, from 6 p.m., a group of representatives of the best Hungarian Roma bands will be presented at the Hegyvidék Cultural Salon (XII., Dwarf Street 2.). The concert is free of charge, supported by the program ‘Thank you, Hungary!, but subject to registration.
Bartók Workshop Gala. The Budapest Capital Bartók Dance Ensemble and its youth groups Zeng the soul... on 30 January at 6 p.m. in MOMkult (XII., Csörsz utca 18.) the actors Gázsa Papp and his orchestra, as well as Ágnes Barta and Martin Mészáros will participate.
Exhibition in the salon. On the occasion of the Cziffra 100 memorial year, painter Hanna Kürthy presents her works related to her years spent at Senlis, France and Cziffra Foundation, in the Hegyvidék Cultural Salon (XII., Törpe St. 2). The exhibition is open until January 28; admission is free of charge.
