Vaccination action week. To further increase vaccination and curb the epidemic, the government between November 22-28 launches a vaccination action week at hospital vaccination points. Hospitals this week all over the country - especially in Budapest - are waiting for those who have not been vaccinated, and even those who want to take the second or third vaccination, with an increased vaccination capacity, between 7am and 7pm, without an appointment. Unvaccinated people can exceptionally arrive at vaccination points without prior registration, where five types of vaccine are available, Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen and Sinopharm.

Free testing. As part of the protection against the coronavirus epidemic, the Hegyvidék Municipality will provide free rapid testing to its local citizens until November 30th. Two thousand of the antigen tests, which show the current presence of the coronavirus in the body, are currently available to the municipality. Tests are made on working days between 9am and 4pm in the temporary office at 42 Böszörményi St.

Obligatory mask-wear. It is obligatory to wear a mask in the cultural and sports institutions of the Hegyvidék Municipality - at the program locations and at the service points where the social protection distance cannot be maintained. Only visitors with a vaccination certificate can take part in the self-organized exercise classes of the Hegyvidék Cultural Salon, as well as in the larger club sessions, which are specially designed for the elderly.

Sweets on the canvas. An exhibition entitled Dolce, the still lifes of the painter Patrik Tayler about sweets and childhood memories will open on November 18 at the Barabás Villa (XII., Városmajor utca 44). In connection with the exhibition, Orsolya Sulák-Erdőháti will hold a museum pedagogical session for children aged 5-10 on the 21st of November, and on November 27 at 10 am in the animation workshop of István Mikolaj Dabi, young people (from the age of 12) can bring their plasticine cookies to life.

Rák Béla Combo. On November 19, from 7pm, the ensemble of Béla Rák (guitar, vocals), András Kaboldy (bass) and Balázs Szikora (drums) will give a free concert at the Jókai Club (XII., Hollós út 5.). The band, which has been operating since 2004, plays elegant, melodic jazz based on virtuoso guitar playing, with an individual world of sound and melody.

In a dance step from Bach to Bartók. The students of the György Solti Music School will present various dance types found in classical music literature from 5pm on November 21, from the characteristic allemande of the baroque suites to the hot-glowing tango to the folk-inspired Bartók arrangements. The show is hosted by Zoltán Bolyky. The venue is the dome hall of MOMkult (XII., Csörsz utca 18.).

Jazz evening in the villa. On November 27, from 6pm, a duo of trumpet player Áron Koós-Hutás and guitarist Márk Horváth will play in Villa Barabás (XII., Városmajor utca 44). Admission is free!

Opera and operetta. The Mysteries of the Female Soul will feature the gems of opera and operetta literature, the popular melodies of Mozart, Gounod, Verdi, Puccini, Leoncavallo, Kálmán, Lehár and Strauss will be performed by Katalin Benedkffy on November 28 at 5pm in the Cultural Salon (XII., Törpe utca 2). Admission is free, but registration is required.

Family dance weekend. On November 27, from 2pm to 5pm, we can learn choreographies for the music of the musical Mamma Mia, and on November 28, from 10am to 1pm, for the melodies of The Nutcracker, under the direction of dance artist, choreographer and dance teacher Gábor Finta.

Piano evening. The American pianist Richard Shuster will be a guest of MOMkult (XII., Csörsz utca 18.) on November 30 at 6pm, who will play works by contemporary composers (Robert Gross, Joseph Klein and Gyula Fekete) alongside Liszt and Ravel. Admission is free, but registration is required.

Cinematic Art Pop. On November 30 from 7.30pm, composer Balázs Alpár will hold his author's evening at the Lóvasút Cultural and Event Center (XII., Zugligeti út 64.). His program includes his concert works, pieces written for the Fugato Orchestra, and works taken from his film music works.

Movies in English. CinemaMOM (XII., Alkotás u. 53.) will screen the action thriller “007 - No Time To Die” in English (with Hungarian subtitles) as well as the sci-fi entitled Dune and Eternals. On November 21 at 3pm, we can watch a new opera film, Tosca, staged by the Zurich Opera House on screen.
